Client Implementation Manager - GRC

Diligent Corporation
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time
Reference: 102_716120_5823519004

Here's a summary of the role
If building highimpact partner ecosystems and driving sustainable revenue growth gets you out of bed in the morning, this role is for you. As a Manager, you'll lead sellthrough strategy with advisory and consultancy partners-expanding market reach, SaaS implementation delivery, Client onboarding, consulting delivery, strengthening relationships, and turning complex sales cycles into measurable wins.

Here's a breakdown of what you'll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

Lead end-to-end client implementations of Diligent solutions, from project kick-off through go-live, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Translate client goals and current processes into clear solution designs and implementation plans that drive tangible governance, risk and compliance outcomes.

Coordinate cross-functional project teams (Advisory Specialists, Customer Success, Sales and Product), providing clear direction, removing blockers and managing risks.

Aid and assist commercial teams both during pre-sales and post-sales to continue to obtain and grow our clientele, ensuring client satisfaction throughout.

Facilitate engaging client workshops and training sessions, building user confidence and setting customers up for successful adoption.

Own project communication and stakeholder management, providing clear status updates, managing expectations and ensuring issues are quickly identified and resolved.

Capture lessons learned and continuously improve our delivery approach, contributing to playbooks, templates and best practices across the Services team.

These are the essentials you'll need to get an interview:

Solid experience managing client-facing implementation or consulting projects, ideally in SaaS, professional services, audit, risk, compliance or governance.

Proven ability to run multiple projects at once in a high-paced environment, with strong organisation, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills.

Confidence leading client workshops and training sessions, with excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Comfort working with tech platforms or complex workflows - you don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to be curious and hands-on.

A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and keep projects moving forward.

Eligibility to work in the hiring location and flexibility to work with clients both in person and remote across different jurisdictions/time zones when needed.

It would be great if you had these to, but we'll support you if you don't:

Experience with governance, risk, compliance, internal audit or entity management processes and frameworks.

Prior exposure to Diligent products or similar GRC / board / entity management platforms.

Experience mentoring or coaching junior consultants or project team members.

Familiarity with project management approaches and tools (for example, Agile, PRINCE2, MS Project, Jira, OpenAir or similar).

Comfort working in a global, matrixed environment with remote teams and clients.
