Your future role
An opportunity has become available to join Alstom as our Continuous Improvement Lead. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the ANZ Cluster process performance and improvement team within Quality Department, across all Alstom Product Lines. This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive Quality team. Reporting to the Process and Performance Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Process & Continuous Improvement team through the set-up and monitoring of performance management tools and animation of Performance Management network in ANZ. In addition, you will provide relevant analysis to support various initiatives of training and qualification plan for the lead auditors team. Ideally you will be based in our Milton, QLD office, however other locations will be considered.
We'll look to you for:
- Leading end-to-end document management across ACOMIS and SharePoint, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and control
- Streamlining and improving document workflows, modernising legacy files, and driving efficient ways of working
- Supporting and training users on systems and tools, enabling adoption and resolving access or functionality issues
- Driving audit activities by coordinating programs, tracking outcomes, and ensuring timely closure of findings
- Producing insightful quality reports, analysing trends, KPIs, and corrective actions to support performance improvement
- Championing continuous improvement through root cause analysis and proactive follow-up actions
- Supporting and mentoring internal auditors, strengthening capability and audit readiness across the business
- Ensuring ongoing ISO 9001:2015 compliance and maintaining governance data across ANZ sites
- Coordinating external audits and managing certification requirements to sustain accreditations
All about you
We are seeking an experienced Quality professional with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, and provide critical guidance and support to the operation. You will also have;
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and QMS audit methodologies.
- Lead auditor qualifications and experience.
- Proficiency in document control systems (ACOMIS, SharePoint and AMS4U preferred).
- Ability to manage audits, analyze gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Digital and analytics capabilities, competence in data reporting and KPI tracking.
- Experience in managing Quality tools (Problem solving, Lean Six Sigma, ...)
- Experience in designing and leading internal training sessions.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical or similar).
