This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity based in Forest Hill, VIC within our Carer Recruitment and Development Team. The position reports to the Victorian State Manager, Carer Recruitment and Development. Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, the incumbent will have: A tertiary qualification in social work, community services, public relations, marketing or relevant field Experience working with carers, foster care, or child and family services and have an understanding of out-of-home-care policy, standards and quality frameworks Demonstrated leadership qualities to facilitate groups, peer networks, or community-based programs Understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practice A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families Ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and demonstrate initiative.
