Our client is the largest community housing provider in North East Victoria, delivering safe, secure and affordable homes for people and families across the region. With a solid development pipeline of 150+ projects, we are now seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality housing projects that make a real difference.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will oversee and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of residential and commercial construction projects from design through to completion.

You will bring:
Location can be flexible, but will be required to be office-based in Wodonga, Shepparton or Wangaratta. Regional site travel will be required, and a car allowance will be paid.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will oversee and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of residential and commercial construction projects from design through to completion.
In the role you will:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Oversee contract administration, including variations, claims and procurement
- Navigate planning approvals and compliance requirements across Victoria
- Coordinate builders, consultants, councils and internal teams
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide reporting to internal stakeholders and funding bodies
- Lead and support a team of Project Officers
You are an experienced construction or project professional who can confidently deliver complex projects in a regulated environment.
You will bring:
- Proven experience delivering construction projects from design to handover
- Strong contract management and administration capability
- Knowledge of Victorian planning and approvals processes
- Experience managing budgets, timelines and project risk
- Solid understanding of civil and residential construction
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
- Experience in social / community housing or government-funded projects
- Procurement and tender evaluation experience
- Working on projects with real community impact
- Joining a values-driven and growing organisation
- Autonomy to lead and shape project delivery
- A regional role with strong local connections
