Remuneration: $74,317.94 - $104,336.27 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
You will deliver women and family centred midwifery care that promotes safe, positive health outcomes through collaboration, clinical expertise and compassionate practice.

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care
Provide culturally appropriate care for women with diverse needs
Document care, referrals and clinical progress to professional standards
Support and guide students, junior staff and colleagues
Contribute to quality improvement and collaborative team practice

Essential Criteria

  • Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

  1. Identify your area of specialty or interest from the following selection - birthing, maternity, women's health clinics, midwifery at home, midwifery continuity of care models.

  2. Recent relevant experience in a clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD.

  3. Provide name and contact details (phone number and email) of two referees, one of which must be a current line manager.

  4. What does the NSW Health Code of Conduct and CORE values mean to you?

  5. What does woman centred care mean to you?

  6. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.

  7. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.

  8. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
