About the role

Exciting things are happening in Breville's social team. Our global platforms are thriving, and we're looking for a Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes social culture, and is equal parts content-savvy and editorially sharp.

As a brand grounded in food and coffee, we're looking for someone who brings genuine curiosity (and a bit of personal obsession) for the world we work in. Whether it's knowing the difference between a flat white and a cortado, or spotting the next big TikTok cooking trend, we want someone who gets the space we play in.

You'll largely focus on Meta and TikTok, supporting content development, owning publishing schedules, and keeping things running smoothly across platforms and markets. This role is perfect for someone who knows what's trending before it hits the For You Pages, and who's confident turning that insight into real creative opportunities.

Shooting and editing short-form video on iPhone and using social-first software like CapCut will be a part of your weekly responsibilities. You'll also be responsible the operational side of socials: building content calendars, community management responsibilities and curating global campaign rollouts.

If you're a detail-driven multitasker who's chronically online and passionate about storytelling, this role is for you.

Keyresponsibilities include:

  • Schedule and publish content across global social media platforms, showing up social-first, and ensuring content aligns with the brand's identity, resonates with audiences, and maintains a cohesive and inspiring aesthetic.
  • Spotting trends, champion modern ideas, and bring fresh creative energy to our channels, and work in a dynamic and collaborative Social Media Team to execute creative ideas, including attending shoot locations.
  • Manage day-to-day community interactions, responding to comments and messages fostering engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Proactively identify and champion new social media features and creative opportunities to keep our brand technically ahead of the curve.

  • Working in a Social Media Team, contribute to insights to support the development and refinement of social media strategies, as well as the rollout of new digital initiatives

  • Develop and maintain systems to manage a high volume of content, including project timelines and asset organisation.

  • Build strong relationships with regional teams to coordinate and organise regional priorities. Be flexible and available for occasional after-hours meetings to accommodate different time zones.
