ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

We are expanding at our new site and are seeking reliable and experienced Chefs to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

14/7 Roster | Flights Provided | DIDO Options Available for locals

• Line Chefs - 14 days on / 7 days off | $90,510 salary
• Flights provided from Sydney
• DIDO opportunities for candidates based in Dunedoo, Dubbo & surrounding areas

The Position:

• Prepare high-quality, buffet-style bulk meals (Breakfast & Crib Lunch OR Dinner & Desserts)
• Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen utilities, and dining room staff to deliver exceptional service to village residents
• Maintain safe food handling and workplace safety standards
• Ensure catering controls are met and minimise food wastage
• Provide guidance and support to kitchen team members
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture and high levels of customer service

The Person:

• Strong team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Trade-qualified Chef (Cert III in Commercial Cookery minimum)
• Proven experience in bulk catering / large-scale cooking environments
• Sound knowledge of kitchen operations and procedures
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid identification (Passport or Birth Certificate + Photo ID)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
