What you will do?

  • Oversee daily culinary operations within our premium dining environment, ensuring highvolume production meets quality standards for events and daily service
  • Support food safety plans and maintain HACCP accreditation standards, advocating for onsite compliance across kitchens
  • Assist in managing departmental budgets, controlling food costs, and coordinating with suppliers to source highquality ingredients for premium dining menus
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and General Manager on menu development, addressing guest feedback and resolving servicerelated issues

More about you

  • Diploma in Professional Cookery Level 5 or equivalent, and minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
  • Previous experience working in a premium dining environment, ideally within highvolume or eventdriven operations
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience monitoring food and labour costs, menu development, and costing
  • Proven background in ordering and inventory procedures, including cost controls and invoice handling
  • Proficiency in menu development and stock management
  • Competence using business technology, including stock control systems, spreadsheets, and accounting systems (preferred)
