The Service

KU Phillip Park pride themselves on their beautifully designed outdoor area and the experiences they offer to children. Located on the edge of Sydney's CBD overlooking parkland, KU Phillip Park is close to public transport. KU Phillip Park is an Exceeding and Small Service and caters for up to 48 children per day and has a focus on building a community of inquiry and investigation by incorporating this into their program.

The Role

Fixed term role until August 2027 working 7.6 hours per day on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

You will also be able to join our casual pool and pick up additional work on non-contracted days if desired.

Of course, you will need:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and National Child Safety Training completed through Geccko
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
