General information Reference 2026-586 Position description Job title Purchasing Coordinator M/F Profile About the job: Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, this role will support the organisation's Supply Chain function. Acting as a key liaison point both internally and externally, the Purchasing Coordinator collaborates closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal service and delivery outcomes. This role will also support inventory and production planning activities by assisting the Inventory Manager with maintaining accurate data and updating inputs for the production plan across Australasia. What will your daily responsibilities include in this role? Order stock and non-stock items, running and reviewing required order reports. Follow up quotes and order on time deliveries from local suppliers. Entering Requisitions and maintain orders, issuing supplier orders. Follow up order confirmations and shipping details both locally and internationally. Efficiently manage logistics related to purchase order. Accurately checking prices from the supplier invoice against our system order. Building and maintaining effective communication and relationship with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders. Follow up on back orders, outstanding credits or replacement stock due to incorrect delivery or damage in transit. Answer purchasing and enquires from staff, suppliers and Freight Forwarders and assist with general purchasing. Communicating information related to purchase orders with internal staff. Update item master information as required. Undertake Data Entry to Planning Schedule. What we ask for: Minimum 2 years' experience in an industrial, warehousing, assembling/dispatching or a similar industry. Previous experience as a Purchasing Coordinator/Administrator or similar in an office environment. Accuracy and strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers based locally and overseas. A 'can do' attitude and be a positive team player. Exposure to Oracle or similar ordering systems for data entry.
