This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in delivering complex, technically challenging control system solutions across multiple industries and environments. Key Responsibilities Work directly with clients to define requirements and develop clear, executable scopes of work Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions Deliver high-quality SCADA/HMI and control system outcomes, including upgrades, expansions, and new installations Ensure all project deliverables meet standards for quality, safety, and timeliness Provide expert technical support and build strong, long-term client relationships Contribute to a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) What You'll Bring 5+ years' experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar environments Strong hands-on experience across SCADA, HMI, and PLC systems (any major vendor platform) Proven capability across control system design, development, and industrial communications Ability to work across a range of technologies and adapt to different client environments Strong client engagement skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly A current Australian driver's licence Highly Regarded Experience Experience with platforms such as GE Proficy, Cimplicity, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, or similar Background in delivering multi-platform or brownfield upgrade projects Experience in programming and commissioning control systems Qualifications & Attributes Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills A proactive, safety-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement We offer a competitive salary and a clear pathway for career development aligned to your experience and ambitions.
