Company Description

Job Description

We're looking for a people-focused Client Manager who loves bringing teams together, building strong relationships, and turning great strategy into brilliantly executed campaigns.

At Spark Foundry our vision is to Fuel Famously Effective Ideas. Famous and Effective. Not one or the other, both. That sounds nice, but to get to famously effective ideas you need some key ingredients.

You need diverse thinkers and diverse thinking. We call this Allsorts. This helps us tackle obstacles through different disciplines and perspectives. You need to thrive on the belief that great ideas are only great if they work. It's not enough to be new, or cool, or interesting. Our solutions need to drive a business result. Everything else is vanity. You need to embrace both the art and the evidence. Right and left. Imagination and activation. Insight and technology. Big ideas, forensically measured.

All that while being a good human? Sound like you? Sound like where you'd like to be? We'd love to meet you.

The purpose of this role

You'll sit at the centre of one of Australia's leading automotive accounts, acting as the key connector between clients, specialist teams and partner agencies. This is a planning-led role with a strong focus on bringing people together, keeping campaigns moving, and ensuring great ideas are delivered brilliantly. You'll help shape media recommendations, manage campaign delivery from end to end, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders, all while developing your own leadership and client management skills.

What key accountabilities does this role have?

  • Lead day-to-day client communication and build strong, trusted relationships.
  • Develop and refine integrated media plans across multiple channels.
  • Coordinate specialist teams and partner agencies to deliver campaigns on time and to a high standard.
  • Manage campaign timelines, workflows and deliverables, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Facilitate WIPs, status meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor campaign performance and contribute to reporting, insights and recommendations.
  • Manage campaign budgets, forecasting, reconciliations and approvals.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all planning, reporting and financial outputs.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

What are the keys requirements and experience for this role?

  • 4-6 years' experience within a media agency environment.
  • Strong media planning fundamentals across all channels.
  • Experience managing campaigns from planning through to delivery and reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Sound financial management experience, including budget tracking and reconciliations.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
  • Experience using media planning and measurement tools such as TVMap, VOZ, Asteroid and Nielsen Ad Intel.

Nice to have:

  • Automotive category experience.
  • Experience working across regional or state-based media campaigns.
  • Previous experience managing day-to-day client relationships.
