What you'll be doing
As a member of the Mental Health Executive, you will lead the operational preparedness and commissioning strategy for the IMHC-ensuring seamless service delivery from Day 1 and beyond.

  • Design and deliver the operational readiness strategy, including Day 1 go-live planning

  • Lead development and integration of contemporary Models of Care aligned to strategic priorities

  • Partner with executives, clinicians and stakeholders to align workforce, services and infrastructure

  • Drive commissioning, staging and service ramp-up to achieve future-state capability

  • Establish governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement across complex workstreams

How to Apply

  1. Tertiary qualifications ideally in health/business/project management/finance and/or relevant senior leadership experience within a complex healthcare setting preferably mental health

  2. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of the health service planning process including facility design, Model of Care development, complex change management and implementation, and operational commissioning in a mental health setting

  3. Demonstrated ability to apply advanced planning skills to coordinate and implement long term strategic and business plans and major projects, including major capital works

  4. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and analyse potential problems at an organisational level and implement solutions through delegation

  5. Proven ability to lead and facilitate multidisciplinary working groups across clinical and corporate functions, fostering inclusive engagement, alignment of diverse perspectives, and achieving positive outcomes through consensus-based decision-making

  6. Demonstrated application of knowledge and expertise in health service delivery across a diverse range of care sectors, in advocacy for positive change in a broad range of community and government forums.
