What you'll be doing
As a Cancer Care Administration Officer, you will provide professional administrative support across a range of clinical and operational services within the Blacktown Cancer and Haematology Centre. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient patient management and supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care services.

Provide front line administration support across multiple cancer care services
Coordinate medical records management while maintaining confidentiality
Support multidisciplinary teams, clinics and infusion service operations
Prepare reports, enter data and manage documentation accurately and efficiently
Prioritise competing workloads and problem solve within a busy healthcare setting

How to Apply

  1. Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment in a patient focused area with previous experience working with oncology patients and/or in a hospital setting

  2. Demonstrated advanced level computer skills including all aspects of MS Office, clinical databases and MS Outlook

  3. Demonstrated excellent attention to detail, in particular data entry processes

  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior clinicians and external staff effectively

  5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and within required KPI's

  6. Experience with medical terminology, and preferred experience with iPims and other hospital patient based programs

  7. Excellence in personal work ethics in the daily performance of administrative duties
