Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional administrative support? We're looking for a Bookings Administration Officer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery.
In this fast-paced position, you will support our bookings and waitlist coordination. You'll be responsible for managing appointment scheduling, maintaining accurate waitlists, and ensuring patients receive timely and effective access to services.

Where you'll be working
Join a supportive and collaborative team at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, providing essential administrative support within the Admissions and Bookings Office. You will play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely access to care while contributing to a positive patient experience across a dynamic and fast paced healthcare setting.

What you'll be doing
In this rewarding role, you will coordinate elective admissions and waiting lists while providing high quality administrative and customer support to patients, clinicians and stakeholders. You will work in a busy environment requiring excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will also include:

Process Recommendation for Admission forms and maintain electronic waiting lists
Coordinate clinic and theatre bookings while communicating with patients via phone, email and mail
Liaise with internal teams and external healthcare providers to support patient admissions
Monitor and audit waiting lists in line with relevant policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate data entry and record management

  • Some experience with administrative systems or booking software (full training and support will be provided)

  6. Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
