ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking a Cook / Chef to join our team at Kapooka (Wagga Wagga). This full-time role is ideal for candidates with kitchen or catering experience looking for a stable role with career pathways.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare meals in a bulk cooking environment
Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
Assist with stock control and kitchen operations
Ensure quality, portion control and presentation
Support team during busy service periods

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Certificate III or relevant cooking experience
Experience in commercial kitchens or catering
Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
Strong attention to detail and organisation
Reliable with a team focused approach
