Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the inbound lead flow and execute outbound prospecting initiatives using a variety of written and verbal communication across multiple channels.
- Pipeline planning - Following a well-adapted approach to maintaining a rolling 4Q pipeline and keeping pipeline current in Salesforce.
- Work with Marketing on the creation and execution of ABM campaigns, pre.and post-event promotion, and subsequent lead follow-up.
- Think outside the box to continually experiment with new and creative ways to reach and connect with potential customers (e.g., Martech customers).
- Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce, including email and call logging.
- Build early-stage pipeline reporting, with qualitative and quantitative analysis, to understand the progress of activities against reaching defined goals.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Previous experience in technology-based consultative SMB Sales or BDR, selling solutions for SaaS/Cloud Computing companies.
- Experience prospecting and selling to Martech Cloud Application buyers, any experience selling in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem is a big plus.
- Experience in using Salesforce as a CRM and Outreach to build pipeline.
- Natural curiosity: Ask thorough and pointed questions, guiding potential clients through needs analysis and discovery sessions to qualify the lead and drive new opportunities.
- Knowledge of value articulation principals include client ROI and appropriate storyboarding techniques.
- Willingness to jump on outbound calls without "all" the information.
- Dedication and drive to meet and exceed goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; taking initiative, ownership, and direction of your role and career.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication with keen attention to detail.
- You're an active listener who's attentive, understanding both words and context, more interested in learning than speaking.
