Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursing Support Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting registered nurses with general patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting patients with personal hygiene, mobility, communication needs, and assisting with basic treatments and medication delivery. Your commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic care will significantly impact our patients' well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting patients with their personal care needs such as showering, dressing and eating

- Assisting patients with their mobility and communication needs

- Participating in planning the care of individuals

- Following therapy plans such as interventions to assist those with dementia and behavioural problems

- Observing and reporting changes in patients' condition, and reporting complaints about care

- Assisting with rehabilitation exercises, basic treatment and delivering medications

- Providing direct support and assistance to therapists

Required Qualification & Work Experience:

Nursing Support Worker Trainee

Offshore:

- At least 12 months of experience (or study equivalent) in Nursing Support Worker within the last 24 months.

- PTE 30+

Onshore: Opportunity for 462/485 Visa Holders

Nursing Support Worker

• Have at least 2 year of work experience as a Nursing Support Worker
• At least a relevant AQF Certificate III in Individual Support or higher qualification or equivalent or 3 years of relevant work experience to substitute for the qualification.
• English requirement: IELTS score of 5.0 overall (or equivalent), and minimum of IELTS score 4.0 (or equivalent) for individual bands.
