Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to manage financial reporting, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The successful candidate will support month-end and year-end closing processes, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure financial reports comply with applicable accounting standards such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities. Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company financial policies. Help with preparing BAS, FBT, Transfer pricing and Income tax returns to ATO and IRD. Ensure Intercompany reconciliations are done on time by team. Manage and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Maintain coordination and relationship with shared service team Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy. Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required by the business or assigned by management.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) are preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or related roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Experience with accounting systems such as Oracle and Cargowise will be advantageous Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
