The purpose of Risk & Legal is to help our business partners succeed via valued risk and compliance advice, whilst safeguarding UniSuper through effective controls assurance and oversight.
This is an opportunity to shape and uplift enterprise-wide risk governance frameworks that support confident decision-making and sustainable outcomes.


The role

As the Risk Governance, Enablement and Initiatives Manager, you will design, uplift and embed enterprise risk frameworks while coordinating key risk initiatives and improving risk reporting across the organisation. You will partner closely with Line 1 and Line 2 stakeholders to enable scalable, insight-driven risk practices.

Design, maintain and uplift enterprise risk frameworks, policies and standards
Coordinate delivery of enterprise risk and assurance initiatives
Continuously improve risk reporting for senior forums and governance bodies
Leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance risk enablement and reporting
Provide expert guidance on enterprise risk governance and requirements
Project manage enterprise risk initiatives, tracking milestones and dependencies


About you


You bring a commercial mindset and strong risk and project management capability, with the ability to translate complex risk information into clear, actionable insights. You are adaptable, collaborative and confident engaging with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.


Experience in risk management, ideally within financial services or superannuation
Strong written and verbal communication skills that prompt action
Modern, technology-enabled approach, including AI and automation
Proven ability to influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships
Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail
Knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks in financial services
