About the role:
The Automotive Growth & Partnerships Manager is a commercially focused role responsible for driving the growth, performance, and profitability of Plenti's automotive lending portfolio. You will own origination performance across direct digital channels and automotive partnerships, with a primary focus on growing Direct-to-Consumer car loan volumes and optimising acquisition efficiency across the full customer funnel. Working at the intersection of product, growth, and partnerships, you will translate customer insights, market intelligence, and performance data into initiatives that improve conversion and deliver sustainable portfolio growth. This role collaborates closely with Growth, Marketing, Sales, Risk, Operations, Customer Experience, and Technology teams, and is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and brings sharp commercial instincts to everything they do.

Key responsibilities:
Channel Performance & Origination Growth
  • Own end-to-end origination performance across direct and partner automotive channels, including applications, approvals, settlements, conversion rates, acquisition efficiency, and contribution margins.
  • Monitor and report on channel and portfolio performance to surface trends, risks, and opportunities, translating data into clear commercial actions and stakeholder recommendations.

Direct Acquisition & Funnel Optimisation

  • Drive Direct-to-Consumer car loan growth across digital channels, partnering with Growth and Marketing to optimise lead generation, acquisition efficiency, and conversion through data-driven campaign and funnel improvements.
  • Lead funnel performance by using analytics to identify drop-off points, test improvements, and implement initiatives that increase application completion and approval rates across the customer journey.

Automotive Partnerships

  • Manage and grow automotive partner relationships, including campaign execution, pricing initiatives, incentive programmes, and ongoing performance optimisation across the partner portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen engagement with existing partners and support the onboarding of new automotive partners, including dealers and finance brokers, to expand Plenti's distribution reach.

Product & Pricing

  • Own automotive product performance by defining priorities, analysing customer and commercial data, and driving initiatives that improve acquisition, conversion, and profitability across the customer lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies that drive origination growth and profitability, drawing on market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to identify and test commercial levers.

Data-Driven Growth & Insights

  • Use customer, funnel, and channel data to identify opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, and portfolio performance, translating insights into actionable recommendations on pricing, messaging, targeting, and customer experience.
  • Work cross-functionally to prioritise and deliver growth initiatives, partnering with Growth, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and Technology to improve commercial outcomes and customer engagement.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in Product Management, Growth, Partnerships, Commercial, or Portfolio Management roles
  • Experience in financial services, consumer lending, automotive finance, fintech, or similar industries
