About Your Role
This is an exciting time to join as part of a growing commercial team, leading our flagship brand Tassal - the most powerful brand in the protein category (Kantar, January 2026 ).
Reporting to the General Manager - Marketing and Innovation, you will play a key role as their 2IC, responsible for bringing the marketing strategy to life through a high-performing, multi-disciplinary brand team, plus agency partners. You will drive effective working rhythms, build team capability and engagement, and ensure strong brand and communications plans translate into meaningful commercial outcomes.
This is a hands-on role suited to a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of delivery across consumers, categories and channels, including retail grocery, out of home and international. You will bring a strong commercial lens, with the ability to translate strategy into action, driving category and brand growth through a solutions-focused and creative approach.
You will lead, coach and develop your team, fostering a strong focus on execution and continuous improvement. With excellent communication skills, you will work across teams and stakeholders to champion the ongoing evolution of the Tassal brand, building consumer connection and driving engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Operationalise the brand team to execute brand and portfolio strategies to drive brand growth, market share and increased ROI
Turn strategy into meaningful action by delivering integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, PR, social, digital, trade, and retail channels in collaboration with agency and internal teams.
Work with insights and agency partners to continue to evolve the presentation of the brand proposition across product, packaging and foundation and communications' touchpoints
Partner with category and sales to deliver commercial outcomes through compelling new products, activations and trade programs
Manage and optimise marketing budgets to maximise ROI
Travel domestically occasionally to our farming and production facilities
What skills we are seeking
Strong people leadership and coaching capability
Action orientated - delivers outcomes in a highly organised & timely manner
Exceptional organisational, prioritisation skills and AI enabled workflow management capability
Strong communication and stakeholder management - able to simplify and clarify, strong storyteller
High attention to detail and follow-through
Self-motivated, persuasive and a passionate influencer, comfortable in engaging with key business stakeholders
A respectful and empathetic approach matched with the ability to deliver
Displays an agile and growth mindset, as well as being able to navigate ambiguity and execute if priorities change
Experience & Qualifications
8-10 years years experience in Senior Brand and Marketing manager roles
4+ years of demonstrated experience in direct people leadership
Tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Business/Marketing or equivalent) with an understanding of current and future marketing trends and direction
Proven experience delivering brand outcomes, ideally within FMCG or product-based environments, with exposure across consumer, retail and out-of-home channels
Strong experience leading and executing integrated campaigns and extensions to events, partnerships, sponsorships, influencers and local area marketing with agency partners
Demonstrated experience in brand portfolio and communication re-launches including strong media management capability
Strong communication and storytelling capability
