About the Host & Role Overview

Key Learning Responsibilities

• Perform detailed engineering calculations, simulations, and technical analysis to support mechanical system design and project execution.
• Prepare, review, and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
• Design and develop mechanical systems, including preparation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), layouts, and general arrangement drawings.
• Evaluate, select, and specify mechanical equipment and materials to ensure optimal performance, safety, and cost-efficiency.
• Review supplier and vendor proposals, conduct technical assessments, and provide recommendations for procurement decisions.
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, tender preparation, and bid evaluation processes.

Requirements (Graduate Level)

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (recognised in Australia or equivalent)

• Recent graduate or up to 1 year experience (including internships/projects).

• Basic skills in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and ability to read technical drawings/P&IDs

• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of mechanical principles and safety standards
