About the role:
- Safely operate the Home’s passenger bus and follow all road and passenger regulations
- Assist residents on/off the bus, including securing wheelchairs
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and maintain vehicle presentation
- Transport residents to scheduled outings & activities
- Provide warm, respectful customer service to residents and families
- Maintain readiness for First Aid/CPR and uphold WHS & infection control procedures
What You’ll Bring:
- Current bus/passenger vehicle licence
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Previous passenger transport or busdriving experience
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient manner
- A commitment to safety, zero BAC & zero drugs while on duty
