Client<\/span><\/span> An education company, a client of ICG, is undertaking a major data remediation initiative to correct and validate student and financial information across multiple systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> We are seeking an experienced<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Communications Specialist<\/span><\/b> to design and manage all student\- and stakeholder\-facing messaging across channels - including email, SMS, letters, and phone scripts.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Role <\/span><\/span> You'll collaborate closely with the remediation team, compliance, and student services functions to ensure that messages are transparent, timely, and effective in driving the required actions from students or internal teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Draft, refine, and oversee all outbound communications across digital and print channels.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Translate technical or regulatory requirements into plain\-language messages for students and internal stakeholders.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Develop and maintain a library of approved templates and call scripts.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Ensure all messaging complies with privacy, data protection, and legal standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Coordinate with operations teams to manage communication schedules and callback processes.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Track and report communication metrics (delivery, response, resolution).<\/span><\/span><\/span> Assist in the development of training and guidance for staff managing direct student contact.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Proven experience in developing clear and compliant communications within complex organisations (education, financial services, utilities, or similar).<\/span><\/span><\/span> Strong written communication and editing skills - able to make complex information simple.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience working with compliance, legal, or risk teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Familiarity with multi\-channel communications (email, SMS, letter, call scripts).<\/span><\/span><\/span> Exceptional attention to detail and understanding of confidentiality requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Ability to balance tone, professionalism, and empathy in all student or customer communications.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Designing and approving communications to support student data and account corrections.<\/span><\/span> Building message templates, FAQs, and escalation scripts.<\/span><\/span> Supporting multi\-channel outreach campaigns.<\/span><\/span> Advising on best\-practice tone and sequencing of communications.<\/span><\/span> Measuring and improving communication effectiveness.<\/span><\/span> Logistics<\/span><\/span><\/span> Start date &<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Duration:<\/span><\/b> I<\/span>mmediate start, <\/span><\/span>6 months (with potential to extend<\/span><\/span><\/span> Location: <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>Sydney (or hybrid)<\/span><\/span><\/span> Rate:<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/b>D<\/span><\/span><\/span>aily net rates <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>$850 - $1,000 per day (ex\-GST)<\/span><\/span>
