An existing ICG client - a major Australian Insurance & Services organization - is looking for a<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Communications Manager<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>to work within their Group Risk function with a Program Manager to provide support for a major upgrade to the company's Risk capability.<\/span><\/span>
\n <\/div>\n

The Communications Manager will assist in the development and implementation of communications plan for the above mentioned initiative. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

The Communications Manager will be part of a small team consisting of Program Manager and a number of specialized resources to facilitate and support the program. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

Accountabilities will include: <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n <\/div>\n \n
\n - Understanding the major pieces of work being undertaken <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Understanding the various parts of the organisation that will be affected by the program from frontline members of the risk function through to the senior leadership level <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Developing (and\/or adjusting the existing) communications plan <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Tailoring the communications plan depending on the audience <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span> <\/span>

The successful professional will have: <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n <\/div>\n \n
\n - Strong communication and interpersonal skills <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - A highly regarded capability in written communication across a number of media <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - 3\-5 years experience within an internal communications team, preferably in Financial Services or experience in a consulting firm performing equivalent work <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Strong commercial acumen that facilitates the translation of a complex program into clear communications <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Related experience and\/or a working knowledge of Change Management <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - The ability to work in complex multi\-dimensional environments at various levels of the organisation<\/span><\/span>
