<\/span>An ICG client is seeking a<\/span> <\/span><\/span>banking strategy consultant <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>working with the principal of a boutique consulting business to develop the strategy for a small Australian regional bank.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Conduct desktop research using client data, available external data (e.g., ABS, APRA, etc.), and combine to identify patterns and trends to refine hypotheses<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>\n
Develop and explore selected scenarios to test strategies, using available data (including financial data) and well\-documented assumptions<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>\n
Draft components for the strategy based on research findings; this would include well\-structured slide decks<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Skills and experience required<\/span><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Data modelling and analysis (e.g., statistical trends and patterns), including financial analysis (i.e., understands financial statements)<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Experienced in strategy formulation, including hypotheses development, testing and refinement<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>\n
Good structured communications - building and supporting strong argument, particularly slide decks and report writing<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Banking \/ financial services experience <\/span><\/span><\/span>
