Client<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> An ICG client is looking for a highly experienced Program Director<\/b> to take charge and guide towards completion of an in\-flight core banking replacement program. This is an amazing opportunity to truly deliver transformative change for the client.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Program Director role appointed by the incoming Chief Information Officer<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide leadership across all internal, System Integrator (responsible for the core platform implementation\/configuration) and other 3rd<\/sup> party delivery<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Drive (and improve) business\/technology integration across the Program to optimise outcomes (e.g. business and product simplification)<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure all associated workstreams and strategies (e.g. migration, decommissioning, transition plans) are in place and integrated into the plans<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure an achievable delivery plan is in place and can be executed against\/tracked<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure a realistic (and rigorous) benefits realisation plan is in place and has appropriate ownership<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure oversight and governance mechanisms are appropriate and effective (and support effective decision\-making)<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure risks and issues are actively managed, escalated (if required) and resolved<\/span> Key Deliverables<\/span><\/b>:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Initial (rapid) program assessment culminating in a verified\/re\-baselined integrated plan and recommendations to underpin successful delivery<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Benefits realisation plan<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Effective governance framework in place and in operation<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Effective technology\/business integration in place<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Effective management of schedule, dependencies, risks and issues on an ongoing basis<\/span> Skills and experience required<\/span><\/b>:<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Significant banking experience and experience of large\-scale core transformation programs<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Influencing people and executive stakeholder management<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to span business and technology<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to operate at an executive level combined with the ability to "dive deep"<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Exceptional communication skills<\/span> Location: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Can be based anywhere but regular (weekly) travel and time on the ground in Auckland\/Wellington will be required<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Rate<\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>The daily net rate to the consultant will be between <\/span><\/span>$1,600 \- $1,800 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>AUD + GST <\/span><\/span>
