\n An ICG client is currently seeking an experienced consultant<\/span> <\/span><\/b>for<\/span> <\/span><\/b>a short\-term contract basis. The engagement length is guaranteed for 6 weeks but if you are selected for an upcoming engagement, it could be extended. While waiting for the project to land, you will work online from your home base.<\/span><\/span>

\n The client needs a <\/span><\/span>Manager Level Management Consultant <\/span><\/b>with experience in a top firm, extensive pack writing experience and strong analytical skills. A background in strategy or business transformation projects in a leading consulting firm will be highly regarded.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n <\/div>\n \n
<\/span>\n <\/div>Ideally the candidates should have:<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n \n - 2+ years of consulting experience in a tier one firm (generalist in focus) post MBA, or 2+ years experience in a tier one firm, combined with leadership experience in industry OR 5+ years experience in a tier one firm total<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Must have fluent verbal and written English<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Very strong verbal communication skills and ability influence line management as well as c\-suite stakeholders<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Strong PowerPoint and analytical skills with the ability to structure a clear storyline supported with high quality insightful slides containing high quality analysis and clear findings.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n \n \n <\/div> Candidates must also be able to:<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n \n - Effectively lead a team of 2 consultants and a client team, working on parallel work streams<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Set\/agree daily priorities every morning to ensure the required outputs are delivered by each team member on a daily basis<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Guide strategy\/thinking and ensure delivery of improvements to or before target timeframes<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>\n - Initially you will support sales efforts for a consulting firm but you may transition to a project when the need arises and your skill set aligns. Likely engagements would include business improvement, sourcing or CDD engagements. Projects will be assigned where there is strong industry\/engagement experience alignment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n \n Logistics<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n \n \n <\/div>\n \n \n Start date: The client is looking for an ASAP start. If selected for an engagement, it is unlikely that you will need to travel. If COVID\-safe travel is req'd for an engagement the client will cover expenses\/flights etc and you will most likely fly to site on a Monday and back home on Thursday, with Friday as a work from home day. This is a 6 week contract.<\/span><\/span><\/b>
\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n \n \n \n <\/div>\n \n \n \n \n Location: <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>Remote working from home. <\/span>Travel, accommodation and away from home meals will be provided by the client if travel is required. If you can't travel or would prefer not to, there is an option to refuse the engagement and remain involved in sales activities for the duration of the project.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n <\/div>\n \n \n <\/div>\n \n Rates: <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>Depending on level of experience, the daily rate for the successful candidate will be between $1,400 and $1650 AUD per day plus GST.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
