Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We’re now looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Scoresby team and play a key role in keeping our production running smoothly.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising our Heidelberg presses and die-cutting equipment, ensuring reliability, performance, and minimal downtime in a fast-paced production environment.

Your duties

• Perform preventive maintenance on machines for printing industry.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Facilities management.
• Ensure print quality by checking alignment, tension, and registration.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and minimise downtime.
• Log maintenance activities and recommend continuous improvements.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve issues quickly.

About You

• 3–5+ years’ experience in printing press maintenance (Heidelberg or similar preferred).
• Experience with equipment for printing industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge (gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Electrical understanding (motors, sensors, control panels, PLCs).
• Knowledge of print processes and quality standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Safety-focused with a proactive, hands-on approach.
