The Role

Antares is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales of ourModern Workplacesolutions. This is a pure sales role focused onidentifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities (and some existing account management)usingand harnessingyour knowledge in custom solutions based on Microsoft Technologieswithin theModern Workplace(Productivity)practice.

You'll be responsible forgenerating newbusiness from newclient relationships and expanding existing ones, the typical solutions aligned to Productivity are:

  • SharePoint and Teamsbased Solution, including but not limited to; Intranets, Document and Information Management Solutions
  • Business Process Automation through the Power Platform
  • M365 Copilot
  • Migrations
  • Managed Service

As you are a part of the sales team, you will work closelywith our delivery and technical teams to ensure seamless transition post-sale, but your primary focus will be sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development through proactive outreach, networking, and partner engagement (especially with Microsoft).
  • Build andmaintaina strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
  • Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Develop andmaintainrelationships with key business and IT decision-makers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to align client needs with Antares' capabilities.
  • Support account transition to the delivery team and ensure a smooth customer handover.
  • Identifyupsell, cross-sell, and recurring business opportunities within accounts.

About You

  • 3+ years' experience in business development or sales within the professional services or technology sector.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity withthe Microsoft Solutions in theModern Workplacespace, such asMicrosoft 365 and Teams collaboration, Power Platform and Copilot and generative AI in the workplace.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, outcome-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Excellent relationship builder with a hunter mindset.
  • Knowledge ofour primaryNSW/VIC markets and established industry networks is highly desirable.
  • Previousexperience with Pre-Sales would also be a desirable.
