The Opportunity

We're looking for a Structural Engineer to play a key role in delivering structural design and analysis across a range of transmission & distribution projects, supporting major utilities, renewable connections and industrial HV clients. You'll bring strong technical capability, a collaborative mindset, and confidence working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, practical and high-quality outcomes

What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute structural design across the full lifecycle of high voltage substation projects - from planning and design through to construction support and commissioning. Key responsibilities include:

  • Work in a high impact, market-facing and structural engineering delivery focused role

  • Manage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients

  • Ascertain specifications and evolving client requirements

  • Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works

  • Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and Structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards - and in alignment with schedules and budgets

  • Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally

About you

  • Bachelor degree (Civil/ Structural Engineering)

  • Strong expertise in Structural engineering and design documentation, including sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes

  • 2+ years' industry experience on Australian structural engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment

  • Proficient in the use of engineering software tools such as Space Gass, Toolkit, ETABS, RAPT, Strand7

  • Experience in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sector

  • Adept in cross-discipline project delivery and an effective collaborator with all key engineering disciplines

  • Highly developed customer-focus, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
