This is a great opportunity for someone who's recently finished school and wants to start a practical, handson trade while earning a nationally recognised qualification. During your first 3 months, you'll build strong foundations through handson tasks such as: Washing ink trays and keeping equipment clean Assisting with waste paper removal and general production housekeeping Preparing materials, inks, and job components Helping qualified printers with press setups Supporting quality checks and finishing processes Keeping the production area tidy, safe, and wellorganised These tasks may be repetitive at first, but they are key to learning how a print floor operates. As your confidence grows, you'll gradually progress to more technical duties, including: Assisting with running press equipment Learning how to troubleshoot common production issues Building the skills to eventually operate your own printing press under supervision Who we're looking for This role suits someone who: Has recently finished school or is looking for their first fulltime job Enjoys practical, handson work and isn't afraid to get dirty Has basic mechanical aptitude or likes understanding how things work Is reliable, motivated, and eager to learn a trade Is curious about the printing and manufacturing industry A driver's licence and your own transport are helpful but not essential.
