HR Manager

Capability HR
Dural, NSW, Australia Full Time
Reference: 421_629867_Y6R84485

Onsite with flexibility | Multisite healthcare organisation | Duralbased

This is a rare opportunity to step into a true standalone HR Manager role within a growing, wellestablished healthcare organisation with locations across NSW, ACT and VIC. The business has built a strong reputation for commercial discipline, operational excellence, and highquality service delivery, supporting doctors and clinical teams to perform at their best.

With modern facilities, a stable leadership team, and continued expansion, the organisation combines the feel of a mediumsized business with the complexity of a multisite environment. It is practical, grounded, and deliveryfocused - a place where HR plays a central role in keeping operations running smoothly and consistently.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Human Resources Manager is the sole HR practitioner in the business, responsible for the full employee lifecycle across all centres. This is a handson, broad generalist role that blends daytoday advisory work with longerterm improvements to systems, processes, and leadership capability.

You will work closely with centre managers and operational leaders, providing clear, practical guidance and ensuring the business remains compliant, stable, and wellsupported. The environment is fastpaced and operational, with a strong emphasis on common sense, responsiveness, and commercial judgement.

This is not a role for someone who needs a large HR team around them - it suits someone who enjoys autonomy, can selfdirect, and is comfortable making decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daytoday HR support across all centres, including coaching managers on performance, conduct, and people leadership
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, performance reviews, and cyclical HR processes
  • Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, NES, and relevant Modern Awards
  • Lead early intervention on ER matters and manage formal processes when required
  • Own and manage Employment Hero, driving adoption, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Support workforce planning, staffing levels, and organisational structure
  • Develop practical engagement, retention, and capabilitybuilding initiatives
  • Partner with managers to maintain consistent standards and a highperforming culture

About You

You will thrive here if you are:

  • Experienced in a standalone or highly autonomous HR role, ideally in a multisite or operational environment
  • Commercially minded, practical, and able to simplify complex issues
  • Confident in performance management, coaching, and difficult conversations
  • Comfortable balancing daytoday advisory work with proactive improvements
  • Strong on systems, ideally with handson experience using Employment Hero
  • A relationshipbuilder who stays connected to managers and teams
  • Organised, responsive, and able to manage competing priorities across sites

This role suits someone who enjoys being close to operations, understands the realities of a servicedriven workforce, and can operate with confidence without needing constant escalation points.
