We're seeking a highly experienced Technical Business Analyst across Wellington, Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney to join a largescale, multiyear transformation program modernising customer communications across enterprise platforms. This strategic initiative impactsmillions of customer interactions every year, with a committed roadmap that offers longterm engagement, ongoing innovation, and the chance to work on highly complex, meaningful problems.


With strong SmartCOMM expertise, you'll play a critical role in bridging business needs and technical solutions-working closely with clients, developers, and QA teams to shape and deliver SmartCOMMbased customer communication solutions endtoend. From analysing complex integration scenarios to defining functional and technical specifications, you'll be handson throughout the delivery lifecycle. You'll thrive in a dynamic, clientfacing environment, collaborating with a highly energetic team and contributing to Agile ways of working while delivering solutions that genuinely improve customer communication at scale.


This role sits within our Information Services practice,one of four key areas at Tenzing, alongside Technology Services, Management Consulting, and Managed Services. The Information Services team partners with clients to deliver all things data including data science, data warehousing, and data migrations. We use proven methodologies along with industry-leading technology (like Snowflake!) to create scalable and sustainable data solutions tailored to our customer's needs.



What you bring

You'll have proven ability in:

  • Business analysis in technical environments (at least 5 years' experience)
  • Working with SmartComm or similar CCM platforms
  • SmartComm qualification and practical delivery experience is a must!
  • Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
  • Designing and validating customer communication workflows and document templates
  • Collaborating with developers and QA teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns
  • Agile methodologies and facilitation skills



It's important you have a minimum of three years' experience in a consultancy, a strong background in application QA or development, and the ability to work independently. You'll also be skilled in documentation, confident in estimating testing effort, and delivering work in line with those estimates.
