\n We're looking for a compassionate pastoral care volunteer to visit a lovely man who adores his home but feels the weight of social isolation. He is seeking someone to talk to, pray with, and share his story. Apply now and be a gentle presence to bring comfort, connection, and spiritual companionship.<\/b>

\n You'll supplement and complement the work of our HammondCare At Home Pastoral Care Coordinator, and under their direction you may:

\n Skills required for this role:<\/b>

\n \- High level of interpersonal skills, including strong empathy and listening skills.

\n \- Pastoral Care training for example Chaplaincy, Clinical Pastoral Education, or you could attend HammondCare pastoral care training\- Spiritual Care Series, in preparation to becoming a pastoral care volunteer.

\n Volunteering along side Pastoral Care can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
