Underground Auto Electrician - Full Time | 2/2 Roster | Federation Project

Location: Federation Project, NSW
Roster: 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off
Employment Type: Fulltime, Permanent
Travel: FIFO Available | DIDO Available for NSW Residents (Fuel Allowance Provided)

The Role

Reporting to the Underground Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault finding and repair of underground mobile equipment to support safe and continuous operations.

About You

  • Trade Certificate - Auto Electrical (Australian recognised)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Proven experience working in underground mining environments
  • Strong diagnostic and faultfinding capability
  • Sound understanding of underground safety requirements
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small site team
  • Willingness to work a rotating 2/2 roster

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic, maintenance and repair work on underground mobile equipment
    (e.g. Jumbo drills, loaders, trucks, charge-up equipment and services)
  • Fault finding on electrical systems, including CANbus and PLC systems
  • Planned and breakdown maintenance in underground environments
  • Ensure compliance with site safety systems, procedures and standards
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams to minimise downtime
