Our Surgical A Ward is expanding, and we're inviting passionate Registered Nurses to join a team that's known for its advanced clinical capability, strong team culture, and unwavering commitment to patient experience.
About the Surgical A Ward
This 36-bed unit specialises in:
Advanced general surgery
Colorectal
Plastic
Metabolic and bariatric surgery
As a step-down unit from ICU, we manage high-acuity patients with complex post-operative needs, offering nurses the opportunity to deepen their clinical expertise in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

About the Role
We're seeking Registered Nurses with 1-2 years of surgical experience who are ready to grow, lead, and make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care
Support patients through their recovery period
Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes
Act as a role model for safe, compassionate practice
What you'll bring:
Current AHPRA registration
1-2 years of surgical nursing experience
Valid Working with Children Check
Specialty experience in general adult surgery (Bariatrics, Colorectal, Plastics)
Commitment to quality and safety
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Intermediate computer literacy

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
