CHPP Operator Maintainer - Maules Creek

About the Role

Our Technicians in the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) work in a dynamic processing plant environment operating, monitoring and maintaining machinery and preparing coal for transport to market.

These roles are based on site at Maules Creek, Gunnedah working rotating shifts of days and nights. (4/4/6 - 4/4/6)

What You’ll Do

• Operating various basic and complex machinery with manual maintenance work
• Assist in resolution of electrical/mechanical issues relating to performance and availability
• Undertake inspections ensuring all equipment is operating to the correct standards
• Comply with all safety and PPE requirements and promoting mine safety
• Variety of team based and autonomous duties involving plant operation and maintenance work

What You’ll Bring

• Australian recognised Electrical or Mechanical Trade qualification
• Experience in mining, civil or industrial environments
• Holder of a valid driver’s licence
• Live local to the Gunnedah region, or willingness to relocate
• Ability to work rotating day and night shift patterns
