IMC is going through an exciting period of expansion across the Asia-Pacific region - and we're looking for experienced ETF Traders who will accelerate our growth into new markets. The right candidate will bring a significant track record of trading ETFs on at least one major APAC market including China. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving IMC's ETF business forward. Working side by side with quant researchers, software engineers, and hardware engineers, you'll help uncover opportunities, optimize performance, and broaden our product coverage in APAC ETF markets.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance ETF trading models, algorithms, and systems.
  • Price and trade ETFs across APAC markets
  • Manage and optimize risk exposures in line with IMC's risk tolerance and trading objectives.
  • Research, build out, and trade new market opportunities to expand our regional footprint.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and researchers to understand and improve technical infrastructure and trading efficiency.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
  • 3+ years' experience in quantitative trading with specific experience in ETFs within APAC markets (China highly regarded).
  • Strong understanding of ETF pricing.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language (python strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, market microstructure, and trading systems.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including working with large-scale financial datasets and tick-level data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing market conditions.
