The primary objective of this role is to drive growth and expand SonicWall's business across assigned territories within the ANZ region. You will be responsible for strengthening SonicWall's market presence by developing strategic channel partnerships, expanding customer adoption, and accelerating revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute territory strategies to grow SonicWall's market share across Australia and New Zealand.
- Expand and strengthen the channel ecosystem by recruiting new partners and re-engaging long-tail partners.
- Drive new business acquisition while maximizing opportunities within the existing installed customer base.
- Build and manage strong relationships with partners, distributors, and enterprise customers to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Channel, Pre-Sales, and Inside Business Sales (IBS) to execute go-to-market strategies.
- Lead strategic account planning focused on net-new logos and pipeline expansion.
- Position SonicWall solutions effectively against competitive technologies and vendors.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking.
- Deliver business presentations and solution positioning to stakeholders, including senior leadership and C-level executives.
- Contribute to building a strong partner community and enable partners to achieve mutual business success.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong results-driven mindset, competitive awareness, and the ability to execute strategic sales initiatives in a dynamic cybersecurity market.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of sales experience in the Cybersecurity or IT Security industry within the ANZ region.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue growth in security solutions and services sales.
- Strong experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior management and C-level executives.
- Solid understanding and application of MEDDICC/MEDDICS sales methodology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation capabilities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing and collaborative personality.
- Deep understanding of the Australian cybersecurity market (mandatory).
- Willingness to travel approximately 15-20% within the region.
