PURPOSE
OpenText enables the digital transformation of our customers and provides solutions across the entire range of enterprise information management capabilities (EIM). Our teams excel at selling solutions that are sophisticated, secure, high-value, and cost-effective - onsite, via mobile devices, private cloud, or in a public cloud. Our EIM platform consists of comprehensive and integrated product suites ranging from data discovery, content capture, content management, governance and compliance, and archiving.

OpenText consistently challenges organisations in the region to use all of their data. We listen and understand their needs and apply our deep expertise in Information Management to help them turn that data into value.

Our Senior Account Executive - Victoria and Tasmania - Government Business (Melbourne-Based) role is focused on a small number of Key and Strategic Accounts, while playing a leadership face for OpenText in the two states. Our accounts include some of Australia's largest government bodies.

In Victoria and Tasmania, our customers are aggressively driving their applications business to cloud. You will be recently experienced in transforming a traditional enterprise software business to cloud.

As the Senior Account Executive responsible for our government business, you will be seen as a leader of Victoria and Tasmania's operation for OpenText. This means you will need to work with and demonstrate leadership across many other areas of the business you will engage with, including Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Partner Managers, Customer Renewals, Maintenance, HR, Finance and Revenue Recognition, none of which report to you. You will be an expert matrix leader, getting the best from those around you because they want to work with you.

The role is Melbourne-based, and occasional travel to Tasmania, and possibly South Australia, will be expected.
