Risk Advisor
SIRVA Pty Ltd, trading as Allied and SIRVA Relocation is a leading global provider of removals and relocation solutions, with services in more than 40 countries and approximately 5000 employees. The Company has an extensive network of agents and other service providers and conducts more than 365,000 relocations/removals per year, through the transfer of corporate and government employees and moving individual consumers. We offer services from the fulfilment of the entire relocation/removal process for corporations and their employees, to moving a home across town or around the world.
Sirva are now seeking applicants for a Risk Advisor to join our Operations Excellence team in a APAC ME regional position. This role supports all parts of the company including the Allied Moving brand offering exposure to working across multiple industries and fields.
The role offers a hybrid working model with work life balance initiatives including work from home. This role will involve travel from time to time.
About the role:
As the successful candidate you will work collaboratively across the organisation to identify the risk function, uphold a whole of business perspective on risk, and drive compliance & continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to better outcomes for the business and its clients.
Within this role, you will provide expert advice, analysis, and partner with a wide range of internal stakeholders to embed a strong risk management culture and enhance organisational risk awareness. With a broad remit spanning multiple risk classes and disciplines, you will play a key role in strengthening risk capability across the business.
- Coordinate and provide day-to-day oversight of the APME Risk Management Framework, ensuring effective implementation across the business.
- Partner with functional leaders to enable effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and treatment planning, while providing risk advisory support to internal stakeholders across APME.
- Champion a positive risk culture to enhance organizational risk capability by practical support and facilitating knowledge delivery in conjunction with business learning methods.
- Identifying and implementing innovative technology solutions that support the risk function
- Maintain and support management of the central business Risk Register, including updates, tracking, and follow-ups with risk owners
- Assist with quarterly audits on medium to critical risks and control testing activities.

- Knowledge of risk registers, control frameworks, and risk treatment planning.

- Ability to maintain a whole-of-business perspective when assessing risk.
- Understands how risk impacts operational, financial, regulatory, and client outcomes.
- Can balance risk mitigation with business objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify emerging risks and trends
