Our Branch Asphalt and Aggregatesoversees the management of Council's quarries and road surfacing operations, including the laying and repair of asphalt pavements, minor pothole repairs and road line marking. The branch consists of three core business units: Road Resurfacing, Asphalt Production and Quarries. The Role Step into a pivotal leadership role where you'll shape the future of road infrastructure and deliver meaningful outcomes for the community. As a Delivery Manager Road Maintenance, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of complex road maintenance programs, driving innovation, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes across a diverse portfolio. This is your opportunity to influence strategic planning, optimise asset performance, and ensure critical infrastructure remains safe, reliable, and built for the future. To be successful you will have: proven experience leading the operational planning & project delivery of road asset maintenance strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles, asset management and maintenance practices ability to lead, coach and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality outcomes demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships strong commercial, risk and contract management capability with a focus on continuous improvement ability to lead safety, including understand risk management and regulatory compliance.
