What you'll do:

WSP is currently seeking an EI&C Engineer to join our Mining team in Perth, supporting the delivery of small to medium sustaining capital projects across a diverse portfolio of mining clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career to mid-level engineer looking to strengthen their experience across brownfield and operational environments, working closely with multidisciplinary teams on practical, fast-paced project scopes. This will be offered initially on a 12 month contract, will possibility of extention. Day to day, you'll be;

  • Supporting the delivery of electrical, instrumentation and control engineering for sustaining capital projects
  • Developing and reviewing single line diagrams, schematics, MCC design, and control system architectures
  • Preparing technical documentation including scopes of work, specifications and reports
  • Coordinating with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Assisting with site works, commissioning and technical queries as required
  • Contributing to safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery

About you:

  • 2-5 years' experience in EI&C engineering, ideally within mining, resources or heavy industry
  • Relevant engineering degree (Electrical, Mechatronics or similar)
  • Exposure to brownfield or sustaining capital projects will be highly regarded
  • Solid understanding of electrical and control system design principles
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple concurrent projects
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
