Senior Fullstack Engineer
Karbon is seeking a Senior FullStack Software Engineer. This is an exciting time to join the team because we are expanding our organization. In this role, you will be working within an agile development team to design and build interactive web applications. They are responsible for technical specifications and developing and deploying software.
About the Role!

- Balance speed and quality - Know when to move fast and when to slow down, making thoughtful trade-offs to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Use data to inform decisions - Learn from user behaviour, experiment thoughtfully including A/B testing where relevant, and help improve acquisition and conversion over time.
- Work effectively as part of a team - Collaborate closely with engineers and QA throughout the development cycle to build, test, and improve features together
- Use AI tools thoughtfully - Leverage AI to move faster for example drafting code, exploring solutions, or writing tests, while applying good judgement and always reviewing what ships.

About You!
We know great engineers come from many backgrounds. You don't need to tick every box below to apply.
- Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications using C#, .NET (MVC, Web API, .NET Core) and JavaScript or TypeScript. Experience with Ember.js is an advantage.
- Provides technical leadership within the team: guiding architectural decisions, raising the bar in code reviews, and ensuring the team is solving the right problems.
- Solid experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including data modeling and writing efficient queries. Good understanding of data flow across an application.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including scalable systems, API design, and common data structures.
- Experience delivering features end-to-end, from design through implementation, testing, and production support.
- A sense of ownership over your work, with attention to quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with others, contributing to design discussions and code reviews.
- Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or similar), or equivalent practical experience.
AI is reshaping how software gets built, and at Karbon we're fully committed. We don't see AI as a replacement for engineers. We see it as a force multiplier that will elevate creativity, impact and capability to levels we've barely begun to imagine. We're looking for developers who are confident in their fundamentals, driven to grow, and excited to harness AI to build something meaningful. If you're energized by this future rather than cautious of it, you'll feel right at home here.
Our Core Technology Stack!
We build modern, scalable software on a thoughtfully designed stack:
- Frontend: TypeScript and JavaScript across Ember (today), React, and React Native.
- Backend: .NET / C# (Web API, .NET Core) powering distributed services.
- Data: SQL Server with performance and integrity at scale.
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure.
- Observability: Metrics, logging, alerting, and dashboards in Datadog - because we believe you can't improve what you don't measure.
Our architecture continues to evolve as we scale. We invest in event-driven systems, well-defined microservices, and containerized deployments (Azure Container Apps) to build resilient, decoupled, and high-performing software.
If you care about clean service boundaries, reliable systems, and shipping with confidence - you'll feel right at home here.
