Could you be our next Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Logistics, Food and Packaging)?

Want to lead one of the most critical categories behind 1.8 million customer experiences every day? Ready to influence supply chain performance at scale across Australia and New Zealand? At McDonald's Australia (Macca's), we're looking for a commercially driven Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead our logistics category, partnering with key suppliers and our distribution network to deliver outstanding service to our restaurants.

What you can expect on a day-to-day basis:

  • Owning and driving the strategic plan for logistics and associated categories, aligned to the broader Supply Chain strategy
  • Partnering closely with our distribution provider and supplier network, ensuring strong day-to-day collaboration and performance
  • Delivering cost optimisation, risk management and innovation outcomes across your category
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance frameworks, including formal reviews and metrics tracking
  • Developing and implementing pricing protocols and commercial strategies with key suppliers
  • Leading monthly budget and performance reviews, reporting into the broader business
  • Influencing cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, Finance and Planning to deliver successful outcomes
  • Supporting and engaging Owner/Operators, setting supplier expectations and driving alignment
  • Identifying opportunities through data insights, benchmarking and continuous improvement practices
  • Leading the management of change and crisis events, ensuring clear communication across the network

Your keys to success:

  • Proven experience in commercial, procurement or supply chain environments
  • Category experience across logistics, food or packaging
  • Exposure tosupplier management and operations environments
  • Strong ability toinfluence senior stakeholders and build relationships
  • Demonstrated success drivingresults and business outcomes
  • Excellentnegotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable operating in afast-paced, dynamic environment
