Your New Role

We have a 12month Maximum Term Contract opportunity for a Compliance Specialist to join our Member Operations Compliance team. Reporting to the Principal, Member Operations Compliance, this role provides firstline compliance support across Member Operations, with a strong focus on insurance operations, incidents and remediation. You'll partner closely with operational teams, providing pragmatic advice, reviewing member-facing materials, and supporting compliant outcomes for members.


In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide daytoday compliance reviews, feedback and signoff for Member Operations activities.
  • Review member communications (letters, emails, forms, and remediation templates) to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support the assessment of insurance operational incidents and contribute to breach assessments and remediation activity.
  • Help interpret and apply superannuation and financial services regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across operational, risk and compliance stakeholders.


What You'll Need:

  • Experience in financial services compliance, ideally with insurance in superannuation or insurance operations exposure.
  • Working knowledge of superannuation and financial services regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing member communications.
  • Experience supporting incidents, remediation or operational risk activities.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills with a practical, solutionsfocused mindset.
  • RG146 (preferred) or willingness to complete shortly after commencement.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
