About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team in Western Australia.

This role will work on a 10 days on / 4 days off roster (DIDO 2.5 hours from Perth) and play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant document management across the project lifecycle.

You will be responsible for maintaining document control systems and ensuring all project documentation is stored, tracked, and distributed in line with UGL's management systems and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control commercial and technical project documentation
  • Coordinate document control activities including scanning, filing, and distribution of drawings and correspondence
  • Maintain and update document registers with a high level of accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with document control processes and procedures
  • Maintain the controlled Document Management System (DMS)
  • Distribute controlled copies of approved documents and drawings to project stakeholders
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure document integrity and version control

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in a Document Controller role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects
  • Strong understanding of document control systems, procedures, and workflows
  • Proficiency in document management systems (e.g. Aconex, TeamBinder or similar)
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based project environment
