Apply Job no: FN7YC Category: Indirect, Transformation The Systems and Data Manager is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and ongoing enhancement of business-critical systems, while developing a trusted and well-governed data environment that supports operational efficiency, informed decision-making, and business growth. The role oversees system support, optimisation, data governance, integration, reporting, and analytics capabilities, ensuring systems and data remain secure, compliant, resilient, and aligned with organisational priorities. This is a truly unique role that suits the technology professional that holds high value on the strong relationship between core systems and business data combined with experience across both technology domains. What you'll do: Define clear roles, ways of working, delivery standards, and career development pathways. Foster a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability. Own operational performance for business-critical Systems and Data platforms and Analytics. Ensure system availability, incident/problem management, and service performance meet agreed SLAs/OLAs. Translate business needs into system improvements through a disciplined intake and prioritisation process. Contribute to Systems reviews and manage enhancements and minor projects-scope, schedule, cost, risks, change impacts, and outcomes. Establish and operate a data governance framework (ownership, definitions, standards, quality rules, stewardship). Improve data quality (accuracy, completeness, timeliness) and create remediation plans for recurring quality issues. Oversee delivery of Data Insights - operational and executive reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities. What you'll bring: Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team across applications, data, integration, and reporting domains. Formal qualifications in IT, data engineering, business systems, or related discipline. Proven experience managing enterprise applications and data/platform services in a medium-to-large global organisation. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, master data, and reporting practices. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence across functions and levels. Understanding of AI and application of Use Cases in a business scenario Implementation of data governance, data quality management, master data, and data insights/analytics. Demonstrated experience with system support and service management (incident/problem/change practices). Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable system and data solutions.
